Awards & Accolades
Jadavpur Vidyapith (Nursery & Primary) honors students for excellence in academics, arts, conduct, and attendance through various awards. These include medals for top academic performance, artistic talent, cultural participation, good behavior, and perfect attendance, encouraging well-rounded growth from an early age.

Special Prizes

The late Khagendramohan Chakraborty was one of the secretaries of the National Council of Education, Bengal and founder of the Nursery and Primary section of our institution. In memory of our honorable secretary and founder, a gold medal is given to the best outgoing student of class IV. At the end of the session, one student who excels in academic and extracurricular activities is awarded for ingenuity and mannerism and gets this highest accolade, a “gold medal.”
In memory of Dr. Triguna Sen, great educationist and one of the founders of Jadavpur Vidyapith, a silver medal is given to the student of class IV who achieves highest marks in English and Bengali. Marks of all the terminal examinations and internal assessments of class III and IV are considered.
Dr. Bimanesh Sur, whose contribution to the development of N.C.E, B. and our school is remarkable, is known for his love for children. The highest scorer of class III and IV in Science and Arithmetic will be the winner of the prize (silver medal) which is dedicated in his memory.
Among the students of class IV, one who is chosen by the judges as the best in the drawing competition is awarded with a silver medal which is dedicated to the memory of the Late Arun Km. Gupta, one of the secretaries of N.C.E, B.
The late Nira Sarkar was a loving and dedicated teacher and a music lover as well as a great patron of music. A class IV student whose performance in cultural activities is considered to be most excellent gets a silver medal, which is named after her.
The late Lila Cowdhury was the founding Headmistress of Jadavpur Vidyapith. In her memory, a silver medal is given for academic excellency to that student who scores the highest marks in all subjects in III and IV, including computer (summation of aggregates).
A student who scores 90% or above in all subjects throughout their academic career (from nursery to Class IV) is awarded with Pratitii Bhattacharya Smriti Puraskar, named after our beloved teacher who left us at a young age.
A special attendance prize is given to students who have never been absent and late for six consecutive years, i.e. from Kishalaya to class IV.
In memory of the Late Suniti Sarker, grandmother of both Shameek and Sayan Saha (ex-students of this school), a silver medal is awarded to a student of class IV for good conduct.
The late Taritronath Das was a student of this school. In his memory, a memento is given every year to a student of kishalaya class for the all-round best performance.
