From 2006, the Trust of Mumbai Branch of Jadavpur University Alumni Association has been awarding Scholarships to four needy but meritorious students. The Scholarships are awarded in the memory of Late Sushil Ganguly, the former president of Jadavpur University Alumni Association (Mumbai Branch). The amount awarded to each awardee is Rs. 10,000/-. This year Major S.K. Jana, Secretary of Trust of Mumbai Branch of Jadavpur University Alumni Association presented the awards.
Late Bibhas Chandra Rakshit Award
From 2008, the Trust of Mumbai Branch of Jadavpur University Alumni Association introduced an award in the memory of Late Bibhas Chandra Rakshit, the former president of Jadavpur University Alumni Association (Mumbai Branch) for the teacher of the year. Smt. Kahini Bhattacharya, the teacher of the year, 2016 and it was given by Major S.K. Jana, Secretary of Jadavpur University Alumni Association (Mumbai Branch).
